WebWork AI in Slack and WebWork Chat

WebWork AI is available as an app in Slack and can perform actions connected to your WebWork workspace. It works similarly in WebWork Chat.

Mention it in a chat or a channel in Slack, or open it in Apps > WebWork AI. It can perform the following actions:

  • Answer all your questions about your workspace and members
    Example prompts:
“Who was most productive this week?”
“Any signs of burnout in the support team?”
  • Create and remind about stand-ups
    • Start a standup for your team

    • Remind the channel when it’s time

  • Share updates and summaries

    Example prompts:
“Set up daily standups at 10:30 in this channel”
“Remind my team to start the standup every morning”
  • Create tasks and send reports in Slack

Ask the AI to create tasks and projects or send you daily or weekly team reports. Here are example prompts you can use:
“Create a task for Anna to review the UI design”
“Send a weekly report to #team-leads”
    “Who was absent today?”

    Example prompt:
    “Who was absent today?”
  • Show and give you details about tasks
    Example prompts:

    “Show me my tasks”
    “What’s due today?”
    “List Sarah’s open tasks”

Note that for the birthday feature to work, users must use the same email address both for WebWork and Slack.

If you are using WebWork's holiday management feature, WebWork AI can do the following:
    • Announce upcoming public or company holidays
    • Let your team know whether it’s a working or non-working day
    • Deliver a customized holiday message
