How to install the Silent Tracker on Linux?

The Silent Tracker is a separate app from the regular Desktop Tracker and must only be installed on company-owned devices.

To download the Silent Tracker for Linux, follow these steps: 

  1. Go to the Downloads section in the top right-hand corner

  2. Select the OS and download the tracker

  3. Open Terminal > Downloads folder
    Use the following command:
    cd Downloads

  4. Go to Silent Tracker folder
    Once you're in the Downloads folder, use the following command to navigate to the Silent Tracker folder:
    cd webwork-tracker-silent-mac-6.14.7

  5. Run the installer script
    Run the following commands in Terminal to start the installation:

    • chmod +x install.sh

    • ./install.sh

  6. Installation completion
    Once you've entered the above commands, the Silent Tracker will be installed on your system. WebWork Silent Tracker installation commands for Linux

You're all set!
Once installation is complete, the Silent Tracker will generate user accounts based on the device it is installed on. You can then rename the users to their actual names.
