Searching for tasks

To search for a task:

  1. Go to Tasks on the sidebar and click the project you need.
  2. Write the task title you are searching for in Search for tasks at the top of the Tasks page.

Filtering tasks

WebWork offers three task-filtering options. These can be activated by clicking My Tasks, Show, and Assignees at the top of the Tasks page.

  • The My Tasks option will show only the tasks you’re assigned to in the open project.
  • Show will allow you to hide or show tasks with certain statuses.
  • Assignees will allow you to view tasks assigned to specific people.

Board view and list view

The WebWork Tasks page has two view options: board view and list view. You can switch between these by clicking the respective button at the top of the page. Both views sort your tasks by their statuses.

Subtask views

You can change how subtasks are displayed in WebWork. Clicking the Subtasks button will give you three options:

  • Collapse all
  • Expand all
  • As separate tasks

The first two options will collapse or expand all of your tasks that have subtasks.

The As separate tasks option will display your subtasks as separate tasks. This is useful if a subtask and its parent task have different statuses.

Hide or show task details

To hide or show certain task details on the Tasks page, follow these steps:

  1. On the top-right of the Tasks page, click Show columns.
  2. From the dropdown menu, check the properties you want to be displayed or hidden.

Note: this only works in the list view of the Tasks page.
