View & Edit Timesheets

On View & Edit Timesheet, you can 

  • see the tracked hours for each day
  • add time and break
  • export the timesheet as CSV, XLSX, or PDF
  • edit the timesheet

How to add time? 

You can add time in two ways:

  1. with the button +Add time
  2. with the plus icon on each time log

The plus icon let's you add additional time entries for each day.

Fill out the time, select the project and task, and add activity description if necessary.

Click the check icon to save the added time.

Similarly, the +Add time button allows you to add both time and break. 

Select the date, the project and task, add the time and description and click Add.

To add break, click the Break tab, select the date, break policy, and time, and click Add.

How to edit time? 

To edit time in the timesheet, click the Edit button in the top right corner.

Each time log will become editable and you can edit the tracked hours, change the project, task, and the activity description. To save the edits, click Save changes

To cancel, click Back to view.

Time Editing Permissions

Who can edit time?

Apart from the workspace owner, there are four member types who can have permissions for time editing: executive manager, project manager, team manager, and regular user.

To set up their permissions, go to the Settings > Timesheet page in your workspace, then select the member types you need. Once you've selected the member types, be sure to click the Save changes button so the settings are applied.

*Please note that selected roles can edit time without having to request. Non-selected roles will have to request.

Who can approve other’s time requests?

Apart from the workspace owner, there are three member types who can approve or reject time requests: executive manager, project manager, and team manager

To set up permissions, go to the Settings > Timesheet page in your workspace, then select the member types you need. Once you've selected the member types, be sure to click the Save changes button so the settings are applied.

Selected roles can approve and reject time requests of other members.

Additionally, you can make a description for the time editing a required field, so members will be prompted to write a reason when they add or edit time.

Time Edit Log

The Time Edit Log feature is available on WebWork’s Plus and Premium plans.

You can use the Time Edit Log to view time entry changes across your workspace, including entries that members have added, edited, or deleted for themselves or on behalf of others. To view that information you can go to the Timesheets > Time Edit Log page in your workspace.
