Video Meetings

Navigating to video meetings

You can host video meetings with your workspace members directly in your WebWork dashboard. To navigate to video meetings:

  • Go to Communication > Video Meetings

Note: video meetings are only available on the Plus and Premium plans.

Starting a video meeting

WebWork allows you to either start a video meeting immediately or schedule it ahead of time.

You can start video meetings immediately in two ways. You can either click New Meeting > Start an instant meeting, or go to your Personal Room and click Start. After starting your meeting, you may invite workspace members directly from the call or send them an invitation link manually.

Sharing your screen in a video meeting

During a video meeting, participants can share their screens in several ways. You can share:

  • The entirety of your screen
  • A specific window
  • A specific browser tab

To share your screen, simply click the Share Your Screen icon at the bottom of the call screen. You will then need to grant WebWork the permission to share your screen.

Note: you can also choose to share your screen’s audio with the participants of your call.

Scheduling a video meeting

WebWork allows you to schedule video meetings ahead of time. These can be one-off meetings or recurring ones. To schedule a video meeting:

  • On the Video Meetings page, click New Meeting > Schedule a meeting

On the Schedule meetings page, you can fill in the details of your upcoming meeting. This includes the date and time, duration, and participants of the meeting. To make the meeting recurring, check the Recurring meeting checkbox. You can then choose the frequency of the meeting as well as how long it will last.

Scheduling meeting

After filling in the details of your meeting, click Save at the bottom of the page. If you’d like to change something about a scheduled meeting, simply hover over it and click Edit. You can then choose to edit all future occurrences of that meeting or the specific one you selected.
