Time Requests
In case you or a workspace member worked away from their device and didn't track the time with the tracker, you can add or request time addition.
Who can add time without requesting?
The Workspace Owner can set who can add time without requesting.
Go to Settings > Timesheet > Who can edit time and select the member types

The other roles will have to request time which you will need to approve or reject.
How to request time?
If you do not have permission to add or edit time without requesting, you have to request time addition and wait for approval.
To request time,
- From the Sidebar, go to Timesheets > Time Requests
- Click +Add time from the top right-hand corner
- In the open window, fill out the fields like project, task, time zone, and time
- Click Request
Now you need to wait for your request to be approved by the Workspace Owner or Executive Managers. When approved, the requested period will be added to your timeline.
Another way of requesting time is right from the desktop app. In order to request time without entering your dashboard click on the Add and edit time section on your desktop app (the section with the time icon). Then click on Request time. Note, that if you are under one of the selected roles that can add time without requesting (such as Executive Manager), then this button will be Add time instead of Request time. Hence, you can add/request your time directly from the desktop app.

In case you want to add time for a specific task or project you can click on the pencil icon next to the project:

then fill the necessary information:
