Security & Sensitive Account Changes
Your account security is our top priority. Certain actions — such as updating authentication factors or other sensitive settings — can affect your access or the safety of your data. This article explains how to safely request changes if you cannot perform them yourself and when performing these actions directly in the platform, how and when the system will require you to confirm your password.
Requesting Changes to Authentication Factors
If you need to change an authentication factor (such as your email address or password) and cannot do it yourself through the portal, our support team can assist you.
Step 1: Contact Support
-
Contact our support team through the official support portal or support email.
-
Clearly describe the change you need (for example, an email update or password reset).
Step 2: Verify Your Identity
-
If you contact support from an email address different from your registered email, identity verification is required.
Our team may:
-
Send a confirmation request to your registered email and ask you to reply, or
-
Ask you to submit the request directly from your registered email address.
If email verification is not possible for any reason, your workspace owner may confirm your identity using their registered email.
This step ensures that only the account owner can request authentication changes.
Step 3: Change Confirmation
-
Once the change is completed, we will send a confirmation message.
-
Log in as soon as possible to verify that everything works correctly.
-
If you receive a temporary password, update it immediately after logging in.
Keep Your Account Secure
-
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if it is not already active.
Password Confirmation for Sensitive Account Changes
To protect your account and personal data, WebWork requires you to confirm your password before making certain changes that could affect your access or security.
This security measure helps ensure that only you — the verified account owner — can perform actions that have significant impact on your account’s integrity. Password confirmation protects your account from unauthorized changes and helps prevent loss of access if someone else gains temporary access to your device.
When Password Confirmation Is Required
You’ll be prompted to enter your password when performing any of the following actions:
- Change your account password
- Update your email address
- Enable or modify Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Generate a new API token
These actions can affect how you log in, how your identity is verified, or how your external systems integrate with your account — so confirming your password adds an extra layer of protection
