Inviting Project Viewers
Project Viewers do not count as a paid seat, so you will not be charged for them.
Project Viewers can access and view project data and reports, but their permissions are limited. This way, you can control what they can and cannot see. To invite Project Viewers to your Workspace follow these steps:
- Go to People > Project Viewers.
- Click Invite Project Viewer in the top-right corner.

- Enter the Project Viewer’s first name, last name, and email.

- Send the invitation.
The Pro plan includes 1 Project Viewer seat. Plus and Premium plans offer unlimited Project Viewers.
Once invited, you can adjust their settings. For example, you may:
- Enable Show Rate so they can view amount-based data such as user rates and earnings.
- Assign them to specific projects, ensuring they only see the ones you select.
- Manage their status by re-sending the invitation, archiving them, or permanently deleting them from the archives.
Managing Permissions
Beyond basic settings, you can further customize what Project Viewers see:
- In Settings > Workspace > Permissions, you can restrict access to sensitive details such as user device information.

- In Settings > Screenshots, you can enable the option Allow project viewers to view members’ screenshots if you’d like them to view screenshots of members who are assigned to this project.

Paid Collaborator
You can also make the project viewer a paid collaborator by clicking on the relevant button in the Project Viewers page:

Hence, you will give access to chat, video meetings, and tasks to the project viewer. Before becoming a paid collaborator, project viewers could view the tasks, however after it they are also able to create new tasks, assign it to members and other actions related to tasks. Note, that paid collaborators are counted in the invoice at your seat rate.
