To ensure WebWork Desktop Tracker functions properly on macOS, you and your workspace members will need to grant it a few permissions. These are:
- Accessibility permissions
- Screen recording permissions
- Automation permissions
Accessibility permissions
WebWork Desktop Tracker needs accessibility permissions for activity tracking. Specifically, the app uses these permissions to monitor the mouse, keyboard, and scroll wheel activity of workspace members.
To grant accessibility permissions:
- In the Settings, go to Privacy and Security > Accessibility
- Enable the toggle next to WebWork

Screen recording permissions
The desktop tracker uses screen recording permissions to take periodic screenshots.
To grant screen recording permissions:
- In the Settings, go to Privacy and Security > Screen Recording
- Enable the toggle next to WebWork

Automation permissions
The app uses automation permissions to track app and website usage.
To grant automation permissions:
- In the Settings, go to Privacy and Security > Automation
- Expand the WebWork dropdown
- Enable the toggles for System Events and all web browsers

WebWork will now be able to track activity and take screenshots on macOS.
