If you want to receive invoice payments on WebWork, you can do so through Stripe.
To do so, connect your Stripe account with your WebWork account and enable payable invoices. Currently, we support invoice payments through Stripe only.
Payable Invoices are available on Plus and Premium plans and if Online Payments add-on is enabled.
However, if you want to make a payment without an invoice, you can do so through Stripe, Bitwage, and Wise.
1. Connect Stripe account to WebWork
To connect your existing Stripe account to WebWork, go to Settings>Finances>Connect with Stripe.
2. Create and send invoices
To create and share payable invoices,
- Go to Finances>Invoices
- Create invoice (custom or hourly-based)
- Enable Accept payment
Sending invoices of other workspace members
If you are sending the invoices of other workspace members to a client, only your Stripe account is enough. In this case, workspace members don't need a Stripe account as the payment will be transferred to your Stripe account.
Sending your own invoice
If you are sending your own invoice to the client or Workspace Owner, you need your own Stripe account connected.
Making payment through WebWork
Other than receiving payments through Stripe, you can also make payments on WebWork through Stripe, Bitwage, or Wise. To make a payment this way, ensure you verify your email address.
To do so, go to:
- Finances>Payments>Make payment
- Select the member you want to pay
- Add the amount you want to pay
- Select the Payment system (Stripe, Bitwage, or Wise)
- Click Submit
After submitting, you can follow the payment status to ensure it is completed.
