Why am I appearing absent when the Desktop Tracker is on?

 

If you’re tracking time on the WebWork Desktop Time Tracker but appear as Absent in your dashboard, you might be:

  • Tracking time in the wrong workspace
  • Viewing the dashboard of the wrong workspace

Both of these cases can happen if you’re a part of multiple WebWork workspaces. It is also possible that you accidentally created a new workspace instead of joining by invitation.

To fix this issue, make sure you are viewing the right workspace.

Changing the active workspace on the dashboard

If you find yourself in the wrong workspace click the drop-down menu at the top-right of the page and select the right workspace. Check if your attendance is showing now.

Changing the active workspace in the Desktop Time Tracker

Make sure you are tracking time in the right workspace on the Desktop Time Tracker. 

  • In the Desktop Time Tracker, click your avatar
  • Hover over your name and select the correct workspace
